This is a cute little spot. If you're on the road and get hungry this is a great spot. Burgers were real good and the service was great. Definitely will stop by again. (ﾟヮﾟ) (ﾟヮﾟ)
Service was good but the food was okay. The clam chowder was good just missing seasoning and the halibut sandwich was good but I wish it was fried instead of grilled.
My husband and I frequent the Hilltop, since it's so close to my father-in-law's house. We have had breakfast and lunch there and everything we have ordered has been super good! It is a different "walk up and order" system, but hey! We're grownups, so no big deal. Great beer and cider selection. Eat at hilltop, you won't be disappointed!
Get the crab cakes! Food is the best in Waldport. Fresh!! Get there early because it will be busy at any time of the day. The ordering process involves waiting in line sometimes, but it's worth it. Did I mention the crab cakes?
It's an unassuming little place on highway 101 in Waldport, Or. We were served in next-to-no-time (contrast this with yesterday's breakfast at The Little Brown Hen). I had the Dungeness crab omelet - it had actual chunks of crab in it -- very enjoyable! Decent coffee. And they take credit cards.
Opps, I first experienced this establishment a few years ago. I'm pretty sure they had just opened. I rented a "VRBO!" That was right next door. Great service and excellent prepared breakfast dishes. I'm back on the Oregon coast for the summer and stopped in a few weeks ago. Same great service and reasonable prices. I ordered the salmon Benedict with those excellent potatoes. The place is still very well operated.
Delicious fare, prepared with finesse & efficiency. Lindsey greeted us at the counter, (which is where you order). Grab their menu - have a seat to peruse it = there are many options! Return to the counter, place your order - sit back down, and it'll be served to you by someone with a smile. The vibe is relaxed, and there are cool, sea themed copper art pieces hanging on the wall.
Hilltop Cafe Bistro is a must go on the oregon coast! The food was homemade and delicious. I would recommend the breakfast potatoes and anything with the berry compote! You order and pay upfront and they bring you your food. The service was quick and friendly. There was plenty of seating available on a weekday, but I'm Sure they get busy on the weekend. I will definitely be back to try their lunch/dinner menu.
